Happy birthday, and byebye, Chia.

I guess after three years with you, I can very honestly say you've made a great impact on my life, and hopefully I on yours. I cannot imagine what life would be like without you and do not dare to. Though one day I know I have to face that, till then, I'll be behind you all the way. It's really hard to begin to describe how much I love you and would be willing to give for you. It's so amazing how we can be such good friends when we have totally different personalities, different likes, different hobbies(besides singing!) and... you get the drift. God really does bring people together.
Well, you're certainly not perfect, but you are one of a kind Chia, and you should never doubt that you are the most beautiful person on earth, because you are. You are very special to me, and I always thank God for you. (:

Please please take good care of yourself in Europe. Have fun and buy us nice things(:

I could go on and on about how I love that we always have to start our sentences with "Hey did I tell you already? blablabla" because we spend way too much time together and tell each other everything, but I really need to curl up in bed and cry my heart out over all the emotional things that have been happening recently. Not a bad thing, letting it out.

Farewell assembly today, so many mixed feelings and am really beat right now but well, you know i'm not very good with words, and jocie just about captures aptly everything swimming around in my mind so... ><

"Farewell Assembly today was pretty emotional. I guess I didn't see the true significance of it until I watched the Sec 4s, the seniors I've known for my entire secondary school life thus far, swaying in their circles in the amphi - the special formation reserved for only the most special of events - singing the farewell songs that they composed themselves. It was hard to believe I guess, that this was the last day we'd be seeing them as schoolmates. And as I watched them this line from our orientation song came to mind - whenever one door closes I hope one more opens. So as this door closes for them a new door is opening both for them and for us. For them, a new school, a new chapter of their lives. For us, a new year and a new role as the seniors of our school. It was amazing watching the entire school swaying in our final goodbye to the batch of 2010 (and Mr Chang ):) and it's at times like this that I am reminded how proud I am to be a part of this school. The school that stretches us and pulls us to almost beyond our limits, that brings tears of frustration and anger to our eyes, that deprives us of much of our sleep and youth. Yet this is the school that teaches us to be strong, teaches us to prioritise and decide what's really important, teaches us to find joy in the little things despite everything else that's going on." Choir Farewell after was great.
D: I guess the impact's starting to hit me, that we'll be alone at the top now.
Mr Lau was right, leadership tends to be a rather lonely journey.
Sigh I really do love you guys, y'know?
It'll be emptier without you, as it always is after one batch leaves.
Even when the new sec 1s come in to fill the choir room again, it'll still feel empty, because you guys won't be there, taking up your usual corners and weird positions like pris, slumping all over the floor and stuff.
Sigh I really don't know what to say. When I see you guys, I feel this wave of happiness. Happy because you look at me with those eyes that say, "I'm so very proud of you" and because I know you love rgschoir, and me, and you know we'll give rgschoir our all.

Choir is more lonely without you.

I don't really know what to say, except that I really hope to see you guys happy wherever you go from here. People inevitably get sad when things change and people have to leave, but the future holds exciting promises for both of us, no? It's really encouraging to see you guys assured(somewhat?) that we'll do a fine job of running rgschoir.
Be strong and courageous, for the road ahead's not easy.
One last thing, always remember to sing for the love of music.

Proud of your love 12:19 AM

I really love my parents.

They are two people I will always look up to.
You know when your parents look at you with those eyes and you think it's getting a little too mushy and you turn away?
When I look into those eyes, I see this overwhelming surge of pride.
Pride like a fountain, no, a gigantic waterfall really.
I imagine any parent would think: i'm so overjoyed that I brought my daughter/son up so well. Even if he or she might not do exceptionally well in school, she/he's a nice girl/boy with decent friends. Look at that smile! I love looking at my daughter/son's smile, even for just a fraction of a second. This truly is a gift that I forever will cherish with all my heart.

Ahhhhhhhh, father and mother I love you.
